Childhood moments: The magic!

¡Feliz día del niño a todos!

Hoy se celebra el Día del Niño en México y me hace recordar preciosos momentos de mi niñez.

Esta foto que les comparto es de mi primer viaje al extranjero en la vida. Fue, al que me parece, el mejor lugar que se puede conocer en esa edad con toda la magia, Disneyland, en Anaheim California. Recuerdo a la perfección cada detalle de ese viaje, la ilusión que me provocó ver a Mickey Mouse, Pinocho, el castillo de Cenicienta, ¡el simple hecho de ponerme esas orejas de Minnie Mouse!

Aquí es donde todo empezó: el placer por conocer, por sorprenderme, por descubrir nuevas experiencias, nuevas culturas, ¡viajar!

Abracen con fuerzas al niño que llevan dentro y hablen con él (o con ella), ¿han realizado sus sueños?

Cierro con esta frase de Graham Greene, el novelista británico, que dice:  "Siempre hay un momento en la infancia en el que se abre una puerta y deja entrar al futuro."

Happy Children's Day to all!

Today is Children's Day in Mexico and it reminds me precious moments of my childhood.

I share this photo with you. It was taken on my very first trip abroad in life. I think, that was the best place you can find at that age with all the magic, Disneyland, in Anaheim California.   I remember perfectly every detail of that trip, the illusion that caused me to see Mickey Mouse, Pinocchio, Cinderella Castle, simply the fact of wearing those Minnie Mouse ears! 

This is where it all began: the pleasure to know, to be surprised, to discover new experiences, new cultures, to travel!

Embrace your inner child and talk with him (or her), have you realized his (her) dreams?

I close with these words of Graham Greene, British novelist, who says: "There's always a moment in childhood in which a door opens and lets in the future."
