De Madrid al cielo

¡Oh, hoy extraño Madrid particularmente! Y es que la sensación de salir a la calle, a una de esas concurridas avenidas, con la algarabía y belleza de la gente, con las terrazas llenas de vida y esa huella imborrable que deja el vivir en esa ciudad, me hace recordar, incluso el olor veraniego (y otoñal y primaveral e invernal) madrileño. 

Sin duda, hoy siento con todas sus letras esa frase tomada de un libro de los años 60.

¿Hay alguna ciudad que los haya marcado? ¿Han visitado Madrid? ¿Qué opinan?

Oh, today particularly I miss Madrid! And the feeling of going out to one of these crowded avenues, with the excitement and beauty of people, with terraces full of life and the lasting impression that leaves to live in that city, makes me even remember the smell of summer (and autumn, and winter and spring) in Madrid.

No doubt, today I feel in letters that phrase from a book of the 60s: "It worths getting up early for once, for a day of life in Madrid."
