Colosseum

El Imperio Romano es conocido por su gran esplendor y para muestra, este "botón": el Coliseo Romano. Visitar Roma y no verlo siquiera equivale (para mí) como haber ido a París y no ver la Torre Eiffel. Un monumento a la magnificencia, a la arquitectura en toda la expresión (fue construido en el siglo I y sigue en pie 20 siglos después) y a la diversión, digamos, cruel. 

De día o de noche, su vista es sin igual (un tip: de noche hay poquísima gente y se pueden tomar fotos en mil ángulos sin necesidad de que salgan muchedumbres alrededor, además, claro, de que durante el verano la temperatura es mucho más llevadera). En una palabra, imponente.

Y como acabo de ver por segunda ocasión la película de Woody Allen "To Rome with love", estoy inspirada por esa ciudad y quiero compartir esta foto con ustedes que tomé hace unas cuantas semanas.

The Roman Empire is known for its splendor and for a sample this "button": the Roman Coliseum or Colosseum. Visit Rome and not see it, it's like (for me) going to Paris and not seeing the Eiffel Tower. A monument to the magnificence, to the architecture in the whole expression (built in the first century and still standing after 20 centuries) and fun, say, cruel.

Day or night, the view is unsurpassed (a tip: there are very few people at night and you can take pictures at a thousand angles without crowds around, besides, of course, that during the summer the temperature is much more bearable). In a word, stunning.

And I just saw for the second time Woody Allen's movie "To Rome With Love", so I'm inspired by that city and want to share with you this photo I took a few weeks ago.
